Spring is when

you feel like whistling

even with a shoe full of slush. ~Doug Larson

(No, I know it's not spring yet. But yesterday's 50 degree weather was enough for me to ignore a trashed house an hour and a half before Shabbos and load everyone in the car to splash in puddles. And I definitely climbed a tree.
I know it's not (quite) spring. But things are (maybe) looking up. Just a little.)
Just darling Honey! I hope that you guys don't get socked with this big winter storm that we're supposed to get! I'm not a winter/cold weather person, either Leigh Ann! Maybe just once you could put on The Beach Boys, dress the kids in swim gear, put out cool beach towels (any sharks?)and have a beach party! When I did this in the classroom a few years ago, it was a big hit. The kids loved it (I even had sunglasses from the dollar store for them!) and we all felt a little bit better--even though it was cold and the sky was gray outside! Just a thought... Does Nesi have a stylin' swimsuit?! Well, I've got to finish my letter to Erin. I've explained the whole bit to her! Hope it brightens her winter day! I Love You All! Mom Jez/Savta
ReplyDeleteLove these pics of the kids playing in the warm weather. It is the best to see these pics of Ashi playing in the puddles again-- year after year. Love this post. Spring will be here soon.
ReplyDeleteWish I was there.
